Martin Sheen really got into playing "The Man" in ME2, says BioWare

BioWare's Casey Hudson has said that Martin Sheen, who lends his voice to Cerberus head the Illusive Man in Mass Effect 2, really got into the part.

"We told him that he has to say a line several times different ways because a player might tell you to take a flying leap or something," said Hudson, who revealed that the very thought of such a comment to one's superior sounded a bit insolent to Sheen.

"Sheen said, 'Oooh, no. No. They're not going to do that. Oh no, they wouldn't say that.'" Hudson revealed to Kotaku.

The “mysterious and powerful” Illusive Man commands the secretive “pro-human organization dedicated to protecting mankind’s interests in the galaxy”, and is the type who believes the “end justifies the means”, at any cost - which sounds very Sheen like to us.

However, Sheen isn't the only star power in the game as other announced cast members include Yvonne Strahovski, Michael Dorn, Tricia Helfer, and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Game's out in a couple weeks, barring the end of the world.
