Maneater coming to PS5, Xbox Series S/X with ray-tracing, native 4K at 60 fps, and free next-gen upgrade

Maneater is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X where it will support ray-tracing and native 4K HDR at 60 fps.

When Maneater hits next-gen consoles, you can also expect new lighting effects, increased fidelity and frame rate.

The PC version of Maneater will also be getting next-gen updates in early 2021 and more information on those enhancements will be coming in the next few months.

Players who currently own the game on PS4 or Xbox One can look forward to a free, full upgrade available at launch for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and for PS5.

If you are unfamiliar with the single-player RPG,  you start out as a baby Bull Shark going up against the lead antagonist named Scaly Pete (voiced by Chris Parnell), who is the star of a wildlife reality television show, Shark Hunters vs Maneaters.

But not only will you have to contend with Scaly Pete, but there’s also plenty of dangers lurking in the open ocean, swamps, and rivers. Your only tools are your wits, your teeth, and the ability to evolve.

Released on May 22, Maneater has sold over one million units worldwide.
