Male Draenei's Warlords of Draenor overhaul is not exactly an Extreme Makeover

World of Warcraft expansion Warlords of Draenor introduces some massive changes to the MMORPG's established art style. This is not one of them.

WoW's Draenei race was introduced later than the core handful we've seen so far (like the Tauren, human and Night Elf), so Blizzard hasn't had to make as many changes to bring it into line with modern graphics expectations for Warlords of Dreanor.

In a new Artcraft post on Battle.net, art director Chris Robinson said the team added higher resolution textures and more polygons to "bump up his fidelity quite a bit, as well as improve how we convey emotion through a new animation rig".

Also: muscles out to here. Gosh. Warlords of Draenor sometime in northern autumn.
