Major Nelson's Gamertag gets hacked

majornelson

Xbox's Larry Hyrb, aka Major Nelson, has had his Live profile hacked.

His location, bio and name said that any Live account could be hacked for $100 via PayPal, adding in the hacker's Skype name and "IM A F****T".

Hyrb has regained control of his profile, but since then website lightzz.com has said it carried out the attack.

Per Twitter, Live enforcement and policy director Stephen Toulouse has said he's looking into the matter further.

As for Nelson: "A fun last night at PAX East! Thanks to everyone who has asked, but my account it now fine. Thx to @Stepto and team who are investigating," he tweeted.

Thanks, Kotaku.
