You can play Magicka: Wizard Wars for free right now

Magicka Wizard Wars has entered open beta and has gone free-to-play. If that's not enough, how about a new trailer?

Anyway, in a press release to VG247, Paradox Interactive announced that Magicka: Wizard Wars is now free-to-play on Steam, giving everyone the chance to engage in 4v4 or 1v1 battles of sorcery and skill. You can download it through the link.
If you've got cash burning a hole in your robe, you can also spend your coin on some wizard outfits over at the Magicka site.
The Apprentice starter pack is £10.99, while the Wizard and Archmage packs are £18.99 and £37.99 respectively.
