Magicka: Wizard Wars open beta dated May 27

Magicka: Wizard Wars is set to enter open beta on May 27, publisher Paradox has revealed.

In a press release sent to VG247 today, Paradox confirmed that the Steam Early Access game would enter a free open beta phase along with several paid tiers.

Paradox has published a list of Magicka: Wizard Wars beta tiers here, starting with the free trial then moving on to the £8.99 Starter Wizard Pack, which includes a Green Founder Robe item, a founder forum avatar, a founder staff and forum icon.

Next up is the £14.99 Founder Wizard Pack which includes a Yellow Founder Robe and forum avatar, access to the Dev's Dungeon forum and a full copy of Crusader Kings 2.

Lastly, there's the IMPressive Founder Pack at £44.99, which includes a Red Founder Robe and sword weapon, a Founder with Imp forum avatar, a chance to name your own Imp, $20 in-game currency and three alpha invites.
