LotRO: Riders of Rohan dev diary checks out mounted combat

Mounted combat is one of the holy grails of fantasy RPGs because it's so hard to pull off well. Riders of Rohan looks to do a pretty decent job, and in this developer diary, Turbine explains how it's integrated this most delightful of pursuits without disturbing Lord of the Rings Online's combat balance.

The Riders of Rohan expansion releases on September 5. It raises the level cap to 85 and adds a slab of new content; check out some new screenshots along with the details.
