Little King’s Story is coming to PC next month with a lovely HD upgrade
Former Wii-exclusive and popular life-sim Little King’s Story is heading to PC with some added spit and polish.
Originally released in 2009, XSEED announced the good news overnight. The adventure-RPG title combines life simulation with real-time strategy elements.
Players take on the role of Corobo, a shy young boy who comes across crown with mysterious powers. Wearing it allows him to charm people and make them follow any order.
Using his powers of persuasion, the little King Corobo works to expand and rebuild the kingdom of Alpoko, which has fallen into disrepair.
All characters in the kingdom have their own personality, and can be commanded to carry out tasks such as looking for treasure, battling interesting creatures, constructing bridges and more. The residents are instrumental in expanding the kingdom and restoring it to its former glory.
Along with graphic updates, the PC version features XInput and DirectInput controller support, Steam-specific features such as achievements and Steam Trading Cards.
The HD remaster of Little King’s Story will be released through Steam, GOG and the Humble Store August 5. I will be discounted during launch week for 10% off the standard list price of $24.99/€22.99/£18.99.
