Limited edition Mass Effect 3 pistol replica to go on sale

The trilogy may be over and the next game may be a way off, but Bioware continues to put out a steady stream of Mass Effect merchandise - and has today revealed a new replica pistol that will go on sale via its online store.

This latest planned release is a replica of the M-77 Paladin pistol from the games, now available for pre-order from the Bioware store.

It's a full-scale, hand painted replica and weighs in at 7lbs. The company is only making a scant 200 of them worldwide - and while Bioware is willing to ship anywhere, the store does warn that customs may take issue with any shipments outside of the US. It does look like a gun, after all.

The pistol will cost $400 or your local equivalent, while a $200 deposit will secure it until the finished product arrives later in the year. Thanks, Joystiq.
