Limited Edition: 8-disc Medal of Honor soundtrack

These days, most game releases come bundled with a shiny new soundtrack, so you can make the rest of your life a little bit more epic. A new release from La-La Land Records will make the rest of your life an awful lot more epic, with the announcement that an eight-disc set of music from Medal of Honor is on its way.

Eight-disc Medal of Honor soundtrack

That's right - eight CDs full of games-related music, each one lovingly remastered from EA's vault and source material provided by the composers. The accurately-named La-La Land explains that Discs 1-6 contains the scores from Medal of Honor, MOH Underground, MOH Frontline, MOH Allied Assault, MOH Pacific Assault, MOH European Assault, MOH Rising Sun and MOH Airborne, while Disc 7 is the score to the 2010 Medal of Honor reboot plus bonus material. Disc 8 is also a highlight, featuring never-before-released tracks from MOH Airborne, MOH Rising Sun and MOH European Assault.

While we were expecting something this indulgent to come with a ridiculous price tag, it's actually surprisingly affordable. No, really. Eight CDs, 40-page booklet with liner notes, quotes from Steven Spielberg and a shiny cardboard slipcase - all of this could be yours for just $59.98 plus shipping.

For more information, plus sample tracks, head to the La-La Land Records website and place your order. It's a limited edition of just 2,000 copies, so you'd better be quick!
