Limbo devs working on new IP

Limbo

Limbo developer Playdead has told Joystiq it's working on a new IP, following from the success of the former this past summer.

CEO Dino Patti told the site I can't tell much, but I can tell you that if you liked Limbo, it'll definitely be for you.

"The gameplay style you'll really like. You'll feel it's the same team who made it, but everything will be changed."

Patti also admitted that, while the new IP is a long way out, it is open to releasing it to as many people as possible.

"To be honest, we want as many people to play our games as possible. If we end up going exclusive, we may do it for various reasons, but we just want as many people to play the game as possible."

As for Limbo, if you had any hopes of it coming to PS3, get them out of your head now: Patti told the site the game is "exclusive for life" to Xbox Live Arcade.
