Limbo coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer

Limbo

Three years after its development was initially announced, Independent Game Festival finalist Limbo will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade this summer.

The title, a black and white 3D platformer, is up for two IGF awards this year, including Art and Technical Excellence.

It sees you as a young boy, who goes to the edge of Hell in a quest to find his lost sister.

"The reason for the 'radio silence' is that we have been very busy producing the game," said Dino Patti, head of development at developer for the game, Playdead.

"I'll just let you know that the reason things have taken so long is that we started from scratch and decided to make Limbo independently after talks with several publishers."

No exact date has been given.

Thanks, IGN and GSW.
