Quest: A Rose by Any Other Name
Difficulty: 3 Stars

Location: In the Warren, near the General Store
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5
Requested Item: Phantom Rose
Reward: 3,200 gil, Crystal Rose, Red Bow Tie, Purple Lightning garb, Maximum HP +120, Strength +10, Magic +12
Progress through the Voices from the Grave side quest to obtain the Phantom Rose. Deliver the Phantom Rose to Alrick to complete the quest.
Quest: Born from Chaos
Difficulty: 3 Stars
Client: Solandra
Location: Northeast of the Arcade
Availability: Day 1
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-2
Requested Item: Cursed Dragon Claw
Reward: 6,000 gil, Pendragon Shield, Brigand's Tricorne, Maximum HP +120, Strength +12, Magic +10
In the Chaos behind Solandra awaits the Zomok. Defeat it and return to Solandra to claim your reward. The beast is formidable and cannot be easily defeated until you have completed the Main Quest line in Luxerion. Only then will be you be strong enough to defeat Zomok.
It's weak to Lightning's physical attacks, as well as Thunder-based spells. Prepare to guard when it readies its attacks. When it uses Heavenly Storm, you must block multiple times in rapid succession. In addition, its tail swipe attack will hit twice as it swings its tail forward, then back again. This can be evaded if you move to the side or back of Zomok.
Quest: Buried Passion
Difficulty: 2 Stars

Location: In the middle of the Residences, on the south side
Availability: 10:00 - 19:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-4
Requested Item: Quill Pen
Reward: 1,300 gil, Black-rimmed Glasses, Maximum HP +80, Strength +8, Magic +4
Speak to Armand to hear the first part of a story. Return on two more days to hear the second and third parts of the same story. Head to the Sorcery shop in Old Town and break open the containers nearby to find the Quill Pen. Deliver the Quill Pen to Armand to complete the quest.
Quest: Dying Wish
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Blythe
Location: Gallery Steps on the west side of the Residences
Availability: After Day 1, 06:00 - 22:00
Requested Item: Spectral Elixir
Reward: 0 gil, Tonberry's Lantern, Maximum HP +80, Strength +8, Magic +4
You need to gather three ingredients to create the Spectral Elixir. You need the Thunderclap Cap, Shaolong Gui Shell and Mandragora Root. The Thunderclap Cap is found on the ground in the Warehouse District, the Shaolong Gui Shell is purchased from the merchant opposite the Forge for 600 gil and the Mandragora Root is a 400 gil purchase from the female Grocer across from the restaurant near the South Station. The merchants are only open during the day.
Once you have collected all of the items, deliver them to the Chocobo Emporium girl located in the center of the Commercial District. She is only at her booth from 11 AM until 5 PM (17:00). She gives you the Spectral Elixir to give to Blythe. Deliver the item to complete the quest.
Quest: Faster Than Lightning
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Lamont
Location: Near the west entrance to the Forsaken Graveyard
Availability: After Day 1, 10:00 - 15:00
Reward: 200 gil, Gold Medal x1, Maximum HP +30, Strength +6
Race Lamont to the east entrance to the Forsaken Graveyard. This is an easy race to win as Lamont isn't very fast. If you win the race, speak with him when he arrives to complete the quest.
Quest: Get the Girl
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Lackley
Location: Open area north of the east gate that leads to the Warren
Availability: 00:00 - 06:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5
Reward: 1,500 gil, Exotic Shades, Maximum HP +80, Strength +4, Magic +8
When you accept the quest, you receive the key item, Lackley's Ring. Head to Yusnaan and speak with the Banquet Maitre D' at the restaurant at the top of the red carpet stairs. Speak with Lackley again to initiate another cut-scene, then head to the Forsaken Graveyard. Seila is waiting just inside the east entrance. Speak to her to complete the quest.
Quest: Like Clockwork
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Armena
Location: Near the North Station Canvas of Prayers
Availability: 08:00 - 18:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-4 Conditions: Examine clocks in 13 locations.
Reward: 1,200 gil, Brass Gear, Maximum HP +80, Strength +4, Magic +8
There are 13 total clocks in Luxerion. You need to find and examine each of them, then report back to Armena. In some situations you have to look up to see the clock and examine it. The locations of the clocks are:
- Above the North Station entrance.
- Above the General Store in the North Station.
- Above the Station Attendant in the North Station.
- Above the statue in North Station Plaza in front of North Station.
- Near the phone booth by the Forsaken Graveyard east entrance.
- Just north of the Beverage Shop in the Centrum.
- Next to the Chocobo Emporium in the Commercial District.
- Near the middle of the Warehouse District on the north side by the Informative Man.
- Near the Sentry in the middle of the Residences.
- Outside the South Station entrance.
- Examine the pedestal on the north side of the Clock Tower.
- Just south of the sentry at the entrance to the Holy District.
- In Old Town, just south of the Inn.
Quest: Soul Seeds
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Baird
Location: North-South Corridor, just north of the Arcade
Availability: Day 1
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-2 Requested Items: Soul Seed
Reward: 400 gil per Soul Seed, Black Tattoo, Maximum HP +40, Strength +2, Magic +4
Soul Seeds are found within the Chaos where you fight more difficult monsters. You can usually obtain at least one or two Soul Seeds without engaging any monsters. The Chaos section of Luxerion is located east of the Arcade location on the map, in the narrow corridor. Obtain at least one Soul Seed, then give it to Baird to complete the quest.
Quest: Suspicious Spheres
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Virgil
Location: On the far west side of the Residences
Availability: After Day 1, 08:00 - 17:00
Reward: 300 gil, Millionaire's Mustache, Maximum HP +40, Strength +4, Magic +2
There are three red item spheres in Luxerion. You need to inspect all three, then report back to Virgil to complete the quest. The locations of the spheres include:
- Right next to Virgil (Prophecy of the Future key item)
- Near the middle of the Warehouse District on the north side by the Informative Man (Cathedral Sentry Notes key item)
- Outside the South Station entrance across from the Canvas of Prayers (Fanatic Notes key item)
Quest: Stuck in a Gem
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Gem
Location: Side area between the South Station and Holy District
Availability: 15:00 - 03:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-2 Quest Item: Starlit Spice x1
Reward: 1,600 gil, Black Cat Ears, Maximum HP +80, Magic +12
Speak with the cat, then head to the Warren. In the southeast section of the Warren, near the General Store, speak with Rubrio. Give him two Niblet Hairballs (obtained by killing Niblets) to obtain the Starlit Spice, then head over to Old Town to find Ronan near the inn. Approach him to initiate a cut-scene, then run away immediately to avoid the cats. If any cats touch Lightning, she loses the Starlit Spice and will have to speak with Rubrio again. You need to deliver the item to Ronan without touching the cats, which means you need to either jump over them from high above, or be very cautious as you approach Ronan. Once the item has been delivered, the quest is complete.
Quest: The Angel's Tears
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Luka
Location: Outside of the South Station
Availability: 16:00 - 21:00
Reward: 2,400 gil, Crystal Tear, Maximum HP +80, Strength +4, Magic +8
Buy Luka's tears for 10 gil to begin the quest. Listen to her story, then come back the next day to buy more tears for 50 gil. On the third day, pay her 300 gil, and on the fourth and final day, pay her 1,200 gil. After speaking to her the fourth time, you are reimbursed all the gil you spent in addition to the other rewards.
Quest: The Avid Reader
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Ranulph
Location: South of the Clock Tower
Availability: 05:00 - 23:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5 Quest Item: Ranulph's Journal
Reward: 900 gil, Dull Grudge Knife, Maximum HP +60, Strength +6, Magic +4
Speak with Ranulph, then head to the Commercial District between 05:00 and 01:00. Talk to a woman on the north side, near the Chocobo Emporium, then head to the Warren via the west entrance. Talk to a man with "???" over his head in the midst of the winding entrance to the Warren. Ask him about an old journal to obtain the Reddick's Letter key item.
Head to Yusnaan and got to the restaurant at the top of the red carpet stairs near the station. Speak with the ??? girl at the top and hand over Reddick's letter to receive the journal. At this point, you have the option to read the journal. Once you decide, head back to Luxerion and speak with Ranulph. If you chose not to read it, you complete the quest. If you read the journal, you begin the side quest To Save the Sinless.
Quest: The Girl Who Cried Wolf
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Louise
Location: Phone booth near North Station
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5
Reward: 500 gil, Leather Rucksack x1, Maximum HP +40, Strength +2, Magic +4
When you pass by the North Station during the day time, the phone in the phone booth rings. Answer it to begin the quest. Head to the phone booth by the eastern entrance to the Forsaken Graveyard and answer the phone again, then do the same with the phone near the South Station. Head to the phone booth in Old Town near the Inn and speak to the man nearby. To finish the quest, head to the Warren, just east of the General Store, and walk up to a girl surrounded by three men.
Quest: The Saint's Stone
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Servant Aremiah
Location: In front of the entrance to the Holy District
Availability: 22:00 - 06:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5 Quest Item: Crystal Shard x1
Reward: 500 gil, Fragment Crystal, Service Entrance Key, Paladin garb, Maximum HP +40, Magic +6
Accept the quest after speaking with Aremiah, then head to the northeast corner of the Warehouse district. Approach a man near several boxes to initiate a cut-scene. Break open the boxes behind the man and pick up the Crystal Shard key item. Head back to Aremiah to complete the quest.
Quest: The Things She's Lost
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Dolce
Location: Near North Station Canvas of Prayers
Availability: 21:00 - 06:00
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-2 Requested Items: Green Carbuncle Doll
Reward: 100 gil, Carbuncle Figurine, Maximum HP +30, Magic +3
The Green Carbuncle Doll is found in Old Town, just opposite the Forge. It's sitting on top of a stack of junk. You can only see the item during the quest availability hours, between 21:00 and 06:00. Speak with Dolce once you have the item to complete the quest.
Quest: To Save the Sinless
Difficulty: 3 Stars
Client: Ranulph
Location: South of the Clock Tower
Availability: 05:00 - 23:00
Prerequisite: Fail The Avid Reader side quest and complete the Buried Passion Born from Chaos side quests
Reward: 4,500 gil, Dark Knight garb, Maximum HP +120, Strength +12, Magic +10
Head to the middle of the Residences on the south side to find Armand between the hours of 10:00 and 19:00. Speak with him twice, then head to the Warren to speak with Reddick. He is found in the winding path near the western entrance to the Warren. Head back to Ranulph and speak with him to complete the quest.
Quest: Treasured Ball
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Talbot
Location: North of the South Station Canvas of Prayers
Availability: 10:00 - 20:00 Requested Items: Rubber Ball x1
Reward: 100 gil, Talbot's Gratitude, Salvage Pilot's Badge, Maximum HP +30, Strength +3
Head up the stairs and jump over to the platform Talbot pointed out. Examine the shiny object to collect the item, then speak with Talbot again to complete the quest.
Quest: Voices from the Grave
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Guard outside the Clock Tower
Location: Outside the Clock Tower
Prerequisite: Complete Main Quest 1-5
Reward: 400 gil, Halo, Maximum HP +40, Strength +6
Speak with the sentry standing outside the Clock Tower. After 06:00, head to the North Station and speak to the woman out front to hear about ghost stories. Head over to the west entrance to the Forsaken Graveyard and speak to the woman just south of the gate to hear another report about the ghost problem. The final resident you need to speak with is located due east of the General Store near the South Station. After you speak with him, Hope talks to you and then ghosts appear between 12:00 and 06:00.
Speak with all three ghosts to complete the quest. They are only visible between 00:00 and 04:00 at the following three locations:
- Near the statue at the North Station
- On the west side of the Forsaken Graveyard, near the altar
- In the middle of the Clock Tower
Quest: Where Are You, Holmes?
Difficulty: 1 Star
Client: Thorton
Location: Just outside North Station
Availability: Day 1, 21:00 - 06:00
Reward: 300 gil, Railworker's Cap, Railworker's Beret, Maximum HP +30, Strength +3
You need to find a man near the inn in the station plaza who is wearing a station attendant uniform. Complete the Whither Faith quest, then you'll find Holmes near the northeast exit, just southwest of the inn. Speak with Holmes, then escort him to Thorton in the North Station. Walk slowly and don't let Holmes out of your sight as you make your way to Thorton. Speak with Thorton to complete the side quest.
Quest: Whither Faith
Difficulty: 2 Stars
Client: Inquisitor
Location: Near North Station Canvas of Prayers
Availability: Day 1, 21:00 - 23:45
Reward: 800 gil, Scholar's Glasses, Maximum HP +80, Strength +6, Magic +6, Chronostasis EP ability
When you reach Luxerion, speak with the Inquisitor near the dead body outside the North Station, then examine any shiny objects on the ground and speak with everyone in the area who has a dialogue icon above their heads.
You will find a flier on the ground northwest of the dead girl's location. Collect the flier, then speak with the Inn Keeper. Continue to speak with people in the area and inside the station, then speak with the Inquisitor again to complete the quest.
