Life is Strange is coming to iOS this week, with an Android version to follow

Chloe and Max are coming to mobile devices, with Life is Strange making its way to that buzzing device you keep in your pocket.

Life is Strange, a game we adore, is coming to iOS on December 14. For $2.99 you'll get the first episode, and then the rest of the episodes will be available to purchase either individually or through the season pass. The first three episodes will be available right away, while episodes 4 and 5 will release in 'early 2018' (which will be a painful wait, by the way, because episode 3...does some stuff).

The game's iTunes page (which is up now in case you, for some reason, want to preorder a digital product) states that the game comes with Life is Strange iMessage stickers, and that "you can share your progress and compare your own story choices one on one with Facebook friends". The game will support iPhone 6, iPad 5, iPad Air 2, and iPad Mini 3 and newer devices.

This is just the original Life is Strange - Before the Storm, which wraps up soon, has not been announced for mobile devices.

While this initial release is just for iOS, Dontnod has promised that an Android version is coming too:

If you haven't played the game before, or just prefer a portable format for games like this, it's definitely worth picking up - it's one of the best episodic narrative games out there.
