LEGO Universe shutting down on January 31

LEGO Group has announced its to close down its LEGO Universe MMO on January 31 to the lack of players. According to the firm it was a "very difficult decision to make", but the game didn't draw in enough members to "keep the game open." As a thank you, all current, paying subscribers as of December 31, 2011, will get to play the game for the final month for free. The firm will also start processing any applicable refunds on February 1. You can view the entire FAQ on the matter through here. The studios in Denmark and Colorado working on the game will be shuttered as well, resulting in the loss of 115 jobs the game provided to employees. Thanks, Massively.
