SCE UK has revealed details of a search for PlayStation’s next intern. The month-long position, hosted by Swedish studio Tarsier, will be awarded to the applicant who can create "the best mini-game" using LittleBigPlanet Vita.
Would-be interns will have one month to use the new minigame creation feature and submit their efforts for consideration.
To test and review each entry, PlayStation has judges who will "put each minigame through its paces before selecting a top five from each country." Submissions will be judged on gameplay, originality, and commercial appeal.
The final decision will then be handed over to the team at Tarsier to choose the overall winner.
PlayStation has collaborated with Moleskine to create custom edition LittleBigPlanet notebooks. The top five finalists from each participating country will each receive one of these.
The overall winner will be flown to Sweden where they’ll spend one month working within the different departments of Tarsier, polishing their title into a fully-fledged piece of DLC.
“Gaming is an exciting and fast-growing industry but it can be tricky to get your foot in the door," said Elliott Linger, product manager for LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita.
"This internship offers a whole month’s experience at a great studio, all for creating an awesome minigame. We’re expecting hundreds of entries and can’t wait to see what players of LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita come up with.”
To enter would-be interns should head here, fill out some details and include the unique LBP.me URL for their minigame.
