L.A. Noire allows gamers to skip portions if they fail so many times

During a Q&A session at the Tribecca Film festival, Rockstar's art director Rob Nelson said L.A. Noire will allow players to skip parts of the game they are having trouble with.

After the screening of the game last night, Nelson said a message will pop up after a portion of the game has been failed, asking the player if they'd like to skip it.

"You can skip those action elements and still experience the bulk of the narrative," said Nelson.

The Team Bondi game is 80 percent devoid of action, according to MTV's report, as it is more about uncovering a mystery and evidence as well as chatting up suspects.

This may be one of the reasons it will be easier to skip around, instead of adding a difficulty level such as the one included in Red Dead Redemption - something which was always absent from the GTA games.

LA Noire releases on May 17 in the US and May 20 in the UK for PS3 and 360.
