Kitase: No DLC for FFXIII Japanese Launch

Square Enix's Yoshinori Kitase has revealed that there will be no DLC for the Japanese release of Final Fantasy XIII on December 17, with a decision yet to be made on the overseas version of the game.

Back in August during GamesCom, the FFXIII producer said that non-story related DLC could be coming. Now though, that doesn't seem to be the case.

"Unfortunately, it has been decided that no DL contents will be available for the Japanese version due out in December, while no decision has been made for the overseas versions."

Sad face. The game got a Western release on Friday: Tuesday March 9 2010.
