Kinect Sports Rivals updated, new DLC includes Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark and Viva Pinata content

Kinect Sports Rivals has been updated and received a slew of new DLC, including characters and content from classic Rare properties.

As detailed on Xbox Wire, the following Sponsor Story packs are now available on the Xbox Marketplace:

  • Banjo-Kazooie Challenge Pack
  • Battletoads Challenge Pack
  • Blast Corps Challenge Pack
  • Perfect Dark Challenge Pack
  • Viva Pinata Challenge Pack

Three new vanity packs have also been added: the Sunglasses Pack, Funglasses Pack and the Super Salon Pack. You cna grab all three in the Super Style Bundle.

As for free content added in the update, 24 unique stories have been added for each of the three teams, and players will be able to challenge team captains in all six sports.

There's also the following additions:

  • Team-based photo gallery backgrounds
  • Greatest moments videos
  • Kinect Sports Rivals Island news button
  • News Articles in the Kinect Sports Rivals Hub
  • New! Kinect Sports Rivals story button banner
