Killzone 2 screens show open warfare, Japanese release date [Update]

Below you can see some images showing missile launchers, explosions and red-eyed bad guys.

We reckon this could be a game of the year candidate already, and we've got the review scores to prove it.

Killzone 2 launches February 27.

Update: These screenshots are apparently taken from an SCEJ press release stating that Killzone 2 will be released on April 23 in Japan.
