Kickstarter: Project Giana demo goes live

Project Giana, a Kickstarter project based on controversial 1987 title The Great Giana Sisters, has received a PC demo available from today.

The 1987 original Giana title is controversial due to its stark similarities to Nintendo's Super Mario Bros, although the new Kickstarter version has little to do with that game.

Developed by Black Forest games, the new game is a colourful platformer that takes place in an abstract dreamscape. At the time of writing it has achieved $135,959 of its $150,000 funding goal with just three days to go. You can back the project here.
