Keita Takahashi, Martin Hollis and more providing titles for Game City 8

An incredible line up of indie talent will provide entertainment during Game City 8.

DigitalSpy reports this year's Game City, Nottingham's strong contender for best games festival of all time, is fronting two enormous outdoor screens to showcase games for the genral public.

This would be exciting enough, but the games themselves are almost ludicrously special, coming from Fez creator Phil Fish; Thomas Was Alone developer Mike Bithell; Katamari inventor Keita Takahashi; and the delightful geniuses at Ridiculous Fishing studio Vlambeer (whom, I remind you once again, made the best game in the whole world).

In fact, Goldeneye 64 director Martin Hollis is contributing a new game which will be exclusive to the event.

Game City 8 runs October 19 to 26 in Nottingham which appears to be a totally banging place to live.
