Kane & Lynch 2 demo now live on all platforms, will ship with SteamWorks

Square just said the Kane & Lynch 2 demo is now live for PC, 360 and PS3.

The tester's up for all three systems in the US and Europe. It was already live on the EU PS Store.

The press release is below. The game itself releases on August 17 in North America, August 20 in Europe and August 26 in Japan.

In addition, Valve's confirmed the game will ship with SteamWorks, meaning the PC version will come complete with auto-updating, matchmaking, Steam Achievements, stats, leaderboards. You can pre-order from Steam now at a 10 percent discount.

IO Interactive, a part of Square Enix® Europe, is pleased to confirm that the Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days™ demo is now live on the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC in North America and throughout Europe and other PAL territories.
