Hot new Just Cause 3 screens seem to have come out of nowhere

Just Cause 3 is both colourful and explosive in these new, possibly leaked screenshots.

A set of Just Cause 3 screenshots we've never seen before have popped up online.

As far as we can tell they were first posted online over on NeoGAF, with no mention of their provenance. They're not available via press asset mirrors, or any web and social media presences managed by Avalanche or Square Enix.

Rumour has it we'll see a new gameplay trailer soon, so these may have been intended to accompany it. Fingers crossed for higher resolutions and less compression in an official asset drop.

We've fired off a query to Square Enix's Australian PR representatives, but don't expect an update till business hours in Europe at the earliest.

Just Cause 3 is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One in June this year.
