Jonathan Coulton's Portal 2 song penned

Jonathan Coulton, the singer songwriter behind Portal's hit ending credits song Still Alive, has suggested his contribution to the sequel's soundtrack is at least partly complete, but not yet incorporated into the game.

ShackNews writes that Coulton tweeted confirmation of the song's existence.

"If this plane goes down, the Portal 2 song goes with it," he said. "It is in my pocket..."

Coulton's involvement with Portal 2 was virtually confirmed in November when Gabe Newell spoke to 1UP, but if the composer wasn't joking about holding the only copy, it's safe to assume Valve haven't completed the closing credits yet.

Portal 2 releases in mid to late April.
