Japanese analysts expect FY2014 launch for MGS5

Konami will drop Metal Gear Solid 5 for a fiscal 2014 launch, according to one Japanese firm.

Nomura Securities reckons the next in the series will come between April 2013 and March 2014, though it's unknown if it has insider knowledge or it's just guessing.

The firm reckons the publisher will bring in earnings of ¥60 billion during the FY, with much feedback coming from Nomura following a strong performance on the social gaming side.

Konami has yet to announce MGS5, but hints on where it could be set and its main character have already been teased by Hideo Kojima. In the meantime, it has spin-off Rising from Platinum Games due this year.
