Jane Jensen signs on to new project, Cognition

Legendary adventure game designer Jane Jensen has joined forces with the team behind the King's Quest revival to produce an all new game - Cognition.

Cognition is a joint effort from Phoenix Online Studios, responsible for King's Quest: The Silver Lining, and Dutch developer Khaeon Gamestudio.

The episodic crime thriller tells the story of psychic FBI agent Erica Reed, and was conceptualised by comics artist Romano Molenaar, of Witchblade and X-Men fame. Gabriel Knight and Gray Matter designer Jensen is on board as story consultant.

The team needs to raise $25,000 to cover costs of building the game, and has opened a Kickstarter to support initial development. A number of sweet offers, including appearing in-game, are available to contributors.

The Kickstarter has 39 days left to run; see the pitch video below.
