Jaffe confirms Twisted Metal for PS3, three-game contract with Sony

According to this David Jaffe has confirmed a PS3 version of car combat game Twisted Metal, following the cracking of a code in the newly released Twisted Metal Head-On: Extra Twisted Edition that says, "Twisted Metal is on PSTHREE”.

Jaffe refused to be drawn on whether or not the new game will be disc-based or downloadable.

The outspoken designer had already confirmed his company Eat Sleep Play has started work on PlayStation 3 games.

"We have a three-game contract with Sony," he said earlier this week, speaking here. "Those games are PlayStation 3. We have started development on the first of those three games a couple of weeks ago. Realistically, that game will see the light of day at the end of 2009, maybe a little later or sooner, we'll see how things go."
