Bad news, kids. If you thought the countdown on the Irrational Games website was for a new game, you thought wrong.

It was just for the re-launch of the website itself.

Irrational boss Ken Levine has written an open letter on the relaunched website, talking about the history of the studio.

"Secrets. We’ve all got ‘em. When we ship a box to GameStop or Best Buy, it’s only part of the story. There are so many secret elements that go into our games. There are the levels that got cut..."

And on the new game, he said:

"And yes, we will tell you about the game we’re working on right now. Just not today."

Tease. Go find the new website at the the top.

The game reverted back to its old name, from 2k Boston, at the weekend.
