Ice Bucket Challenge: Halo, Destiny and Borderlands tagged by Warframe

Halo, Destiny and Borderlands will have to step up to the Ice Bucket Challenge now that Warframe has led the way.

Warframe developer Digital Extremes accepted the Ice Bucket Challenge on behalf of the Corpus, one of the enemy factions in its game. It created the cute video above, and donated $10,000 to the ALS Association.

That's not the end of it though - Warframe challenged three other sci-fi shooters to do the same, calling on Halo's Master Chief, Destiny's Ghost, and Borderlands' Claptrap.

It would be super cool to see the resulting videos - not to mention, it would greatly help raise awareness - so fingers crossed 343 Industries, Bungie and Gearbox get involved.

Several other games industry insiders have accepted the challenge so far. Head on over to the ALSA website to see how you can get involved.

Warframe is a free-to-play, third-person co-op shooter with randomly generated levels, among its many other charms, and is available on PC, PS4 and soon, Xbox One.
