Hohokum trailer highlights Richard Hogg's artistic contribution

Hohokum is being developed in partnership with lauded visual artist Richard Hogg, and in this new developer diary, the team talks about bringing colour and design aesthetics to enliven the "generic" art direction of many video games.

Writing on the PlayStation Blog, Hogg, who serves as the game's art director, said he's been polishing the game's visuals recently - but that maybe "polish" isn't the right word.

"Today I was re-drawing some wonky hotdog-trees. They’re still pretty wonky but now it’s the right kind of wonky," he said.

Hohokum is coming to PlayStation 3, PS4 and Vita in northern summer. It doesn't have traditional goals and quests, but does include secrets and trophies and gameplay flow as players fly serenely about its colourful worlds.
