Hitman update adds re-connection option ahead of Sapienza release

The update was applied during yesterday's down time and will be applied when you load the game on Steam. These changes will arrive on consoles prior to the content drop.

One of the biggest takeaways from the update is the re-connection option. If a player is playing in online mode and gets disconnected during gameplay, they have the option to immediately reconnect and resume play without losing any progress. No more returning to the main menus instead.

Loading and restart times have been significantly improved across all locations. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users should notice a 50% difference in this area.

Challenge award will awarded and saved immediately upon completion, where as before players we rewarded upon completion of the mission.

Three options for weapon HUD settings were added for displaying the holstered and equipped weapon icon. Full will show the HUD for both; minimal shows the HUD only for equipped weapons; and off won't show the weapon HUD.

Lastly, disguises, weapons and items that are dropped will now be shown on the in-game map.
