Hitman July content kicks off today with a new Escalation Contract and more on the way

Later this month, the final Elusive Target for Hitman will arrive along with other content sure to keep you rather busy.

IO Interactive, which is once again an independent studio and retains the rights to the Hitman IP, have announced the content players can expect for the month of July including a new Escalation Contract.

The first content kicks off today with the Hamartia Compulsion, the 12th Escalation Contract released for the game. There are three targets players will need to eliminate while wandering around Sapienza. Players will be challenged with five different stages and there's a "sticky pistol complication and a few other surprises," thrown in for good measure.

New, Featured Contracts made by the community have been added to the game, so players have 15 of those to look forward to.

The final Elusive Target for Hitman: Season One will arrive later in the month and will be on the Marrakesh Bonus mission, A House Built on Sand. As the contract is in Marrakesh, players will unlock the Summer Suit with Gloves if it happens to be the first Elusive Target competed in Marrakesh.

Those who earn their first SA rating for the target will unlock the Terminus Suit.

Finally, a new game update is planned for later in the month, with IO stating it will share more details and full release notes closer to release.

New challenges will be added to the August Content Schedule, and announced a later date.
