Hitman Episode 2: Sapienza is free for a limited time

Warmer climes await you in Sapienza, Agent 47.

Io Interactive is handing Hitman players the entire Sapienza location for free as part of The Spring Pack.

For a limited time, players can download The Spring Pack for Hitman on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

Once the pack is downloaded, it will be added to the game permanently. Hitman players have until April 3 to download Episode 2, Sapienza, for free.

The pack contains the main story mission World of Tomorrow, 20 levels of Mastery with weapon and item unlocks, over 100 challenges, and seven achievements/trophies.

All Escalation Contracts, Challenge Packs and Featured Contracts part of Episode 2 are included. You can find out more on The Spring Pack through the Hitman website.

Io will sweeten the deal by reactivating the Guru Elusive Target in Sapienza. It will go live on March 23. Those who haven't tackled an Elusive Target before, be sure to get some practice in first.

Players get only one shot at an Elusive Target, and should they fail the contract, that’s it. No second chances. Pay attention to the clues in order to find the Elusive Target, as they will not appear on the map and will not appear in Instinct.

Those who have been playing Hitman know this already, but for players new to the game, some of the targets can be a bit of a challenge. Current players who have completed or failed any Elusive Target mission will find the contract cannot be accessed.

When Hitman: Game of the Year Edition released in November 2017, all previous Elusive Targets were reactivated. Those who missed previous instances or are new to the series are now able to give each a go. Re-activated targets in Hitman will still be time-limited and released periodically.

Over the weekend, The Black Hat Elusive Target was reactivated. If you missed it, Io will likely reactive it again at some point.
