Hitman: Absolution's Purist mode to be available from the off

IO's confirmed that Hitman: Absolution's Purist mode is going to be playable from start of play, with no unlocking necessary.

"It seems voicing your concern helps from time to time," said an admin, speaking on the developer's forum.

"I've just heard back from the team that Purist mode is now designed to be unlocked from the get go. Unless something critical happens, I feel confident that you can all get your butts handed to you from the first playthrough."

Purist mode removes Agent 47's Instinct feature and gets rid of the HUD. No aids for you, assassin.

Hitman Absolution has a release date of November 20. Thanks, Talkar.
