Hitman: Absolution script runs over 2,000 pages

IO Interactive has gone all out on dialogue in Hitman: Absolution, assigning every character a distinct personality.

The developer told VideoGamer at a Square Enix event that every guard and bystander in the game has his or her own name and identity.

"We'll see how much we can cram in, it'll basically come down to logistics and memory," director Tor Blystad said. "We have a script of 2000 pages for the AI alone. It's huge."

Regardless of how much makes the final cut, IO Interactive is recording it all.

"We're still doing voice recordings and pick-ups. We just did a big recording before Christmas and we have another one," Blystad said.

Still no date for Hitman: Absolution beyond 2012, but we expect it on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Thanks, Shack.
