Hitman 2 may be a few months away still, but one of its modes, namely Sniper Assassin, is available now for some.
Sniper Assassin mode can be played in co-op, or solo, and it's part of the Hitman 2 package. Players who pre-order can get access to one mission right now.
The Sniper Assassin mode is very different from traditional Hitman gameplay. You won't be running around swapping disguises and hiding bodies or setting up elaborate traps. Instead, you're perched atop hill with a fantastic vantage point overlooking a big mansion, and you're tasked with taking out three targets.
Although you won't be able to move, you're incentivised to be creative with your long-range kills. You can trigger traps, and shoot enemies in such a way that they fall over a ledge or into a bush, to make them harder to detect if anyone else passes by.
In the video below, Arekkz does the whole thing undetected. It really shows how creative you can get with your kills, despite having one weapon and being a fair distance away.
He also uses the different types of available ammo, with each offering particular advantages.
Hitman 2 is out November 13 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
