Hitman 2 Starter Pack gives you free access to New Zealand location, latest Elusive Target

IO Interactive has released a free, Hitman 2 Starter Pack.

A Hitman 2 Starter Pack is now available as a free download and allows you to experience the full Hawke’s Bay location along with the opening campaign mission Nightcall.

In this mission, as Agent 47, you will be doing your best to infiltrate a luxurious oceanside property in New Zealand.

All progression earned from playing this location will carry over into the full game should you decide to purchase it.

Additionally, the fourth Elusive Contract operation will go live next week on March 8.

Dubbed "The Politician," it will take place at the Hawke’s Bay location. This means both current Hitman 2 players and those who downloaded the free starter pack can participate in the limited-time event.

Here's the synopsis for Elusive Target 4: The Politician:

Dame Barbara is a disgraced former New Zealand Minister of Trade and Foreign affairs who was forced to resign after the discovery of her charity funneling funds to her offshore interests. After shifting the blame to the charity’s director and wiping her hands clean, Dame Barbara is currently building back her reputation to restore her standing, and she is believed to be working with a body double to protect herself at public events. You have 10 days to complete the mission.

Alongside all this good news comes the latest patch for Hitman 2, update 2.14, which is out today. The patch notes are rather extensive and detailed, so you will want to give them a read over on the official website.
