Hitman 2's first Elusive Target will be Sean Bean

Sean Bean dies in almost every role he takes on, and Hitman 2 will be no exception.

Io Interactive has announced the first Elusive Target in Hitman 2 will be none other than Sean Bean.

Bean will take on the role of Mark Faba, a former MI5 agent turned freelance assassin who is known as “The Undying”. Rather on the nose don't you think?

The fella is a master at faking his own death, which is why the bounty issued by the International Contract Agency (ICA) is so high.

In the live-action announcement trailer, Bean as Faba is speaking to his therapist. He hints around at how he is rather great at contract killing, noting silently the many items in the office which can be used as a weapon.

While the session ends badly for Faba’s therapist, it may end badly for Faba as well. Agent 47 has been watching him the entire time.

The video also shows three different items which can be unlocked as an exclusive Hitman 2 weapon. Fans can vote on which item they wish to be included over on the official website.

Voting on a weapon, such as earbuds, an explosive robot, or a pen, will show a clip of Bean demonstrating its use. The winning weapon will be added later to the game.

Hitman 2's first Elusive Target mission, The Undying, is scheduled to release on November 20, a week after the game releases November 13.

As with all Elusive Target missions, players will have a set amount of time to eliminate Faba. In this case, players have 10 days to stop him before he uses his demolition skills to complete a contract at the Global Innovation Race event in Miami.
