Earn 100% bonus XP in Heroes of the Storm this weekend

Heroes of the Storm players will earn 100% bonus XP throughout the weekend.

The bonus XP weekend is to make up for the recent 100% XP event ending a day earlier than "originally communicated."

"We’ve seen quite a bit of disappointment over this, as well as a progression issue that affected players in Europe, and we’d like to apologize for any frustrations these things have caused," wrote Blizzard. "In order to return some of this bonus time to you, we’re planning to offer an additional 100% XP Bonus event that will span an entire weekend."

Therefore, 100% XP Bonus for the Americas region of Battle.net was enacted yesterday at 1pm and will remain in effect until Monday, July 6 at 1pm PT.

The event is also live for other Battle.net regions around the world in order to "pick up some of the progression" which players expected to earn on June 24.

Heroes of the Storm received a new content update this week. It's titled Eternal Conflict and is themed after Diablo.
