Microsoft revealed Xbox Design Lab at E3 2016 in June. This new website offers anyone willing to pay a bit extra for an Xbox One controller, the ability to customise one for him or her.

The available options are relatively extensive, with around 40 colours to choose from, not to mention the ability to customise each part of the thing separately. The buttons, thumbsticks, d-pad, bumpers and triggers and more can be individually coloured.

This costs you $80, which is $20 more than the RRP of a standard controller. You can also engrave the bottom to say whatever you want, which runs you another $10.

In the video above, Windows Central does an unboxing of one of these. The video shows off the package itself, which is definitely different from the regular controller's, as well look at the device itself.

It takes around two weeks from the time you place your order for the controller to be manufactured, according to the video. The controller in the video appears also to not have the textured grip seen in the white one that comes with the Xbox One S, though maybe that will change in the future.
