Here's our first look at gameplay from Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Ace Combat 7 looks like an Ace Combat game, you guys.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is being shown off at E3 2017, and this time, Namco is allowing the press to capture actual gameplay instead of the stylised footage we've seen in the past.
The demo available starts off from the flight deck of an aircraft carrier before dropping you into some dogfights. You get to customise your loadout at the start, and it looks really good.
The signature Ace Combat chatter and character moments as you're juggling lock-ons and minigun fire are still here. The graphics look incredible, as you can see in Gamespot's video above, although we sadly don't get to see any combat in the city.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is out sometime in 2018 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
