Bethesda has done the expected and announced the Skyrim Special Edition during its E3 showcase last night.

In case you missed it, this version bundles together all previously released DLC and brings mod support to PS4 and Xbox One. It'll also be free for PC players who own the original and all add-ons.

During the show, Bethesda showed off a few scenes before and after the upgrade. Although there's clearly an improvement, the upgrade isn't all that spectacular. After all, the game is less than five years old.
