Speaking in the gameplay demo that was released for Japan on Monday, executive producer on Heavy Rain Guillaume de Fondaumiere has said that the game will undergo cultural censorship in some regions to get rid of stuff which will be alright in some areas, but not in others.
He does insist that the game will essentially be the same though everywhere, saying the changes that will be implemented won't make a "big difference".
"We wanted to have pretty much the same game everywhere, be it Europe, in the United States, or in Japan, of course, with slight adaptions -- for instance, the Japanese version," says de Fondaumiere.
"But I don't think the changes we made will make a big difference, so that those are real modular things."
Game is released next year. Thanks, D'Toid.
