As reported by Polygon, Harmonix will be using game-focused crowdfunding website Fig to raise funds for their next game. Alex Rigopulos, chief creative officer at Harmonix, will also be joining the Fig advisory board responsible for overseeing the curation of projects on the page.

Fig, a new platform for game crowdfunding, is currently hosting a campaign for Outer Wilds. It's unclear when Harmonix will launch its campaign, or what sort of game it is looking to fund. Harmonix is due to release Rock Band 4 on October 6 for PlayStation 4 and XBox One.

Haromonix previously used Kickstarter to fund a reboot of Amplitude, its PS2 classic. That game is currently scheduled to release in January 2016.
