Happy Wars reaches 6 million players, Season 2 confirmed

The free-to-play Xbox Live castle-battler Happy Wars has now racked up six million players, it has been announced. To celebrate this achievement new content will be coming to the game, including a Happy Wartober event which will feature exclusive items, sale offers, and a new character class.

It has also been confirmed that Happy Wars: Season 2 will be coming some time in 2014. That's all we know about it so far.

Happy Wars was Microsoft's first free-to-play game. It tasks 30 players (split into 2 teams) with attacking their opponent's castle while making sure they defend their own.
