Halo's "30 seconds of fun" designer now at Sucker Punch

Ex-Bungie staffer Jaime Griesemer, who became notorious for describing Halo as "30 seconds of fun that happened over and over again", has found a new role at InFamous developer Sucker Punch.

"I found a great team and a fantastic opportunity just across the street at Sucker Punch Productions," the game designer told Joystiq of the Bellevue company.

"It's a smaller team, very collaborative, they've got enormous talent and they are very hungry - they want to take it to the next level and are willing to put in the effort it will take to get there."

Griesemer said it reminds him of where he was ten years ago - at a Bungie less bloated then today.

"When Bungie and I parted ways, I didn't really have a plan. I knew I wanted something different; I'm just not comfortable on an enormous team with a lot of process – it's creatively stifling," he said.
