Halo: Nightfall stars The Good Wife's Mike Colter as Jameson Locke, and this is how he looks in that role.

Locke is described as "a pivotal new character in the Halo universe, who plays a key role in Halo 5: Guardians". The photos below were published on Halo Waypoint to promote the upcoming series.

Taking place between the events of Halo 4 and Halo 5: Guardians, this is an origin story that will lend insight and understanding into the character he becomes in Halo 5: Guardians.

“When I first heard of the project it was presented as a film that would then later be edited into chapters, so in almost every way it is a film. The only difference is that it will be released in segments," Colter told Variety.

Colter said his favourite scene so far is an action sequence with lots of special effects.

Halo: Nightfall is a live action series directed by Ridley Scott, which will debut with the Halo: The Master Chief Collection in November.
