Ridley Scott's Halo project may have got its first cast member

Ridley Scott's Halo project may have just cast its first actor, along with what appears to be a leaked character bio.

It comes from The Wrap, which reports that multiple sources have confirmed that The Good Wife and The Following actor Mike Colter has been cast a character called Marlowe.

Apparently, Marlowe is a rising star in some kind of futuristic army - the UNSC perhaps? - who sees problems with how the military complex he lives in is being run. His questioning of authority and cautious, logical combat approach is said to inspire his Spartan colleagues.

The site adds that Microsoft is set to unveil details of the digital feature - which it claims will air before the end of 2014 - at E3 next month, and that Prison Break creator Paul Scheuring is on writing duties.
