You can buy Halo Infinite Monster Energy, because of course you can

I went on to Twitter and the first thing I saw was a can of Halo Infinite Monster Energy. Cool.

I'm not surprised so much as I'm just... confused. I mean, if the whole buzz with Death Stranding was that you drank rapidly-aging Timefall rain filtered through a special flask to convert it into drinkable Monster Energy, then sure, it makes sense that a company could release a limited time exclusive variant of a popular energy drink. But still. Come on.

Check it out.

The picture above comes from an account called HaloCollector, but as mentioned in the caption, credit goes to one "Derick Hunter" of Facebook. Lucky you, Derick! If you save your empty can or paper receipt for, like, four months, then you'll get double XP!

Also, if you're thinking about trying to read the small print next to Master Chief's right leg, don't bother. I already hurt my eyes squinting and it doesn't have an official release date - it doesn't even mention the ESRB rating! Microsoft and Monster have Halo Infinite Monster Energy drinks properly under wraps.

In related news, apparently the Halo TV series was "well into shooting the first season" prior to having to put filming on hold due to the pandemic.

Good news for Halo fans: Halo Infinite gameplay is due to be shown at the Xbox Series X first-party games reveal today. You can watch it live here. It's only the Halo Infinite campaign being shown today, but it's still better than nothing - maybe we'll even get a look at those rumoured grappling hooks!

Also, fingers crossed for Fable.
